Robust rock slider design made of aluminum, the front panel is reinforced with “Dimple Die” beads. The steps can be unscrewed or replaced if necessary. If the running boards are not used, the holes in the Rockslider can be closed with the screws provided.
The connection to the vehicle occurs via the existing thread inserts on the underside of the body. To do this, the rock slider is screwed to the body with 6 M10 screws.
Our rock sliders have received a parts certificate from TÜV Süd. We have opted for lightweight construction, so our Rockslider is a functional cabin protection made of aluminum, therefore not suitable for a jack, but more sufficient protection in medium-heavy terrain.
Danger:
If the vehicle does not have original running boards, 12 M10x30mm screws and washers are required!

Der Rockslider passt perfekt zu meinem Ford Ranger, und verleiht ihm eine bomben Optik. Ich kann diesen Rockslider nur weiterempfehlen.
Ich habe die orginalen Trittbretter wie von den anderen schon erwähnt sehr schnell abmontiert gehabt. Etwas Plastik jetzt weniger 👌🏻 anschliessend gleich die schönen neuen Rockslider montiert. Ich muss sie passen sehr gut. Nur ein leichtes gefummel bei der Montage bei den oberen Schrauben ist jedoch so denke ich es mir Konstruktiv nicht anders möglich. Aber mit etwas Geduld ist es gut gelaufen und gefällt mir auch sehr gut. Optisch auch sehr gut abgestummen mit dem Navis Dachträger.

Auf der Suche nach Rockslider bin ich natürlich auch über den LAPIS gestolpert. Optik und Preis haben mich dann überzeugt - insbesondere auch der Punkt, dass sie deutlich stabiler als die original Trittbretter sind.
Ich habe noch die ältere Version welche mit einer Art Raptor Lack überzogen ist - dieser blättert zwar bei den Streifstellen ab, jedoch zeigen genau diese Kampfspuren auch, dass die Rockslider ihrem Namen gerecht werden.
Verarbeitung, Optik und vorallem Funktion - 10/10
Der LAPIS Rockslier ist hochwertig verarbeitet und sehr stabil. Die originalen Plastikschweller an meinem Stormtrak waren in 10min weg und der PAPIS in 15min wieder drangeschraubt. Plug n Play! passen perfekt und sehen richtig gut aus. Einzig die Beschichtung könnte noch etwas gröber sein, das würde sogar noch besser aussehen! Aber ansonsten top Produkt!!!
